We have been hard at work dreaming up recipes for our upcoming event this Friday at Labrabbit. Here is a preview of one of our latest concoctions inspired by non other than a chocolate bon bon.

St. Valentine1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka
3/4 fresh lemon
3/4 Mathilde Framboise Liqueur or, raspberry syrup
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper (take care, as some cayenne's are hotter than others)
sweetened cocoa powder for rim of glass
Shake and strain into chilled rocks glass rimmed with sweetened cocoa powder.
Raspberry syrup (this will make for a beautiful red colored drink)
for small serving use 1/4 cup of raspberries (frozen or fresh), 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water. Simmer over low heat until raspberries break down. Use an immersion blender to puree. Strain to remove seeds.
